Firearms Guardian is a legal assistance and firearm liability cover solution designed for lawfully licensed firearm owners in South Africa. It is intended to provide access to legal assistance and liability cover for incidents relating to the lawful ownership, possession, and use of firearms, subject to the policy terms, conditions, waiting periods, and exclusions.

Whether you own a firearm for self-defence, sport shooting, hunting, or recreational shooting, Firearms Guardian offers different membership options to suit your needs.

What Firearms Guardian Covers

Depending on your selected option and the policy terms, Firearms Guardian may provide cover relating to:

Firearm self-defence incidents
Firearms Control Act related legal matters
Civil law matters
Firearm liability cover
Firearm administrative issues
Hunting incidents
Sport shooting incidents
Firearm training incidents
Unlawful arrest relating to firearm matters

Additional features include:

Access to a nationwide panel of experienced attorneys and advocates
24-hour access to legal assistance
Legal representation in Magistrates’ and High Courts (subject to policy terms)

Bail assistance up to the applicable policy limits
One policy covering you and your family, regardless of the number of legally owned firearms

Monthly Premium: R135 per month

Legal Cover: Up to R100,000 per case
Liability Cover: Up to R100,000 per year

Option 2

Monthly Premium: R245 per month

Legal Cover: Up to R300,000 per case
Liability Cover: Up to R300,000 per year

Option 3

Monthly Premium: R325 per month

Legal Cover: Up to R400,000 per case
Liability Cover: Up to R300,000 per year

Exceptional service. I did my firearms competency there and it was a great experience even though there was no power they helped me. They are always avaliable for questions even stupid ones LOL and they know what they are talking about. I only wish I could have continued my licensing process with them but I had to go overseas. If I return I will definitely do it through them.

Did two transactions with them. The first transaction they kept making excuses not to pay me an outstanding amount of R15k, every time you question it, they have an excuse of waiting for someone else to pay them (which was not mentioned on the day of transaction). Second transaction, once again not was originally discussed, they took all my estate weapons and was to purchase it directly from me, after it was carried over to dealer stock, suddenly they will no longer purchase the weapons and will be sold on my behalf. Still no feedback from them and it has been over 6 months. I will not recommend.

Cool experience at Aim and Fire. Super chilled out when deciding what weapons to fire, it was ideal to mix and match what to fire and how many rounds. I used the indoor range which had five lanes up to 10m if I remember rightly. Really good to receive some coaching on my shooting as well, thanks guys!
